Hello and welcome to our wedding website! We are over the moon to celebrate our special day with you and appreciate that many of you are travelling from afar. Here, you'll find the essential information—helpful tips, travel details, and schedules—to make your trip as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

THE "WHY"
That's right ! This country is very dear to us in many ways. Lockdown brought (and kept) CJ here, and as soon as Daniela experienced it, the rest became history.
And Château Buera specifically captured our hearts the moment we first saw it, and after savouring their exquisite wine, we knew it was the perfect place for us. Our love story is filled with special memories on wine farms, and we’ve always cherished being close to nature. Georgia was the first place we moved in together, so it will forever hold a special significance in our lives, making Château Buera feel all the more meaningful.
Along with its luxurious charm, the venue offers so many ways and activities to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
It’s the perfect blend of elegance, adventure, and the warmth we want to share with everyone celebrating with us.
Georgia really is such a magical place, and we can't wait to share it with you.

WEDDING WEEK SCHEDULE
THE FESTIVITIES
Morning/Afternoon
Bridal Party members arrive in Tbilisi. (Partners of bridal party members are welcome to join the relevant celebrations if they wish.)

Late Afternoon
Bachelor and Bachelorette gatherings begin. Specific venues and times will be confirmed closer to the date.
Morning/Afternoon
A free day for exploring Tbilisi at your own pace or simply relaxing. Optional: After late night activities – informal brunch at Wendy’s for bridal party.

18h30
Group dinner at Zala Restaurant for all guests who have arrived in the city.
10h00
Depart Tbilisi for Lopota Lake Resort in Kakheti (approximately a 2-hour drive).
A shuttle will be arranged for the bridal party and any guests who have RSVP’d to use this service.
14h30 – 15h00
Ceremony Practice (Bridal Party & Parents Only)
A quick rehearsal to ensure everyone knows their roles for the big day.
16h00 – 19h00
Separate Pre-Wedding Gatherings by the Pools (bride’s side and groom’s side). Bar service will be available.
Afterwards, guests can dine at any of the three on-site restaurants.
Please keep Friday evening low-key as Saturday will be the main celebration.
Wedding Day

​Guests arrive at ceremony location at 15h30, to be seated at 15h45.
*Please take into account a short walk to the chapel
Check-out & Travel
A shuttle service will be available back to Tbilisi after check-out for those who have RSVP’d.
Georgia is an absolutely wonderful country, so please feel free to arrive and depart whenever you feel your time and sense for adventure allows. The dates mentioned above is there as a reference for when the entire wedding party will be doing lekker things together. If you're there beforehand or after, let us know !
OH, WHAT TO WEAR ?
DON'T SWEAT IT
Our wedding dress code is semi-formal and we encourage everyone to pick from our shared colour palette for a vibrant and celebratory look.​ Please avoid wearing shades of black and/or white on the day.
P.S - The ceremony has an outdoor setting and may include uneven pathways.

THE WELL WISHES
We would love for each guest or couple to bring a handwritten card to the ceremony, so we can create a treasured keepsake of your thoughtful words.
Your presence truly means the world to us, and no gifts are necessary—we appreciate that you’ve travelled far to celebrate with us.
If you absolutely want to give a gift, we love your generosity, but please keep in mind that oversized gifts might not love our airplane baggage allowance.
